How it’s done and what’s possible

Video Light Paintings are only possible by tethering cameras to specialized software that renders consecutive long exposures.

Still-frame or Video Light Paintings can processed, recorded and broadcast out to a large monitor or theater projector (wirelessly projection-mapped to multiple projectors) to be used as live backdrops for performances, demonstrations and talks. Live Video Light Paintings can also be utilized as displays that allow participants to see and interact with the results of their movements with lights in real time.

“I believe that all great art holds the power to dissolve things: time, distance, difference, injustice, alienation, despair. I believe that all great art holds the power to mend things: join, comfort, inspire hope in fellowship, reconcile us to our selves. Art is good for my soul precisely because it reminds me that we have souls in the first place.”
